The Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines départements allocate investments to improve the road network.
In the Hauts-de-Seine, 4.2 kilometres of banks have been developed in connection with the Vallée rive gauche project, on the RD7 particularly, with the creation of landscaped spaces and walkways along the Seine river. The Conseil départemental has invested over 100 million euros for the works scheduled to end in 2017.
The A86 is the subject of particular attention. As such, an interchange of the A86 west in Châtenay-Malabry has been inaugurated and service started in 2014. The creation of a semi-interchange in A86 east – RD986 is planned near the boundaries of Châtenay-Malabry, Plessis-Robinson and Clamart, for an estimated 14 million euros.
This bypass will provide more direct access to the Paris region road network; it is scheduled to begin service in late 2018. A new disseminator will be built to the south of the shopping centre and to the west of the interchange of Vélizy-Villacoublay, which links the A86 to the RN118.
In Plaisir, the development of the RD30 will boost fluidity and security of all the means of transport while contributing to the peace and quiet of the surrounding neighbourhoods (end of works slated for summer 2017).
The project to link the RD190 and RD30, with the creation of a new bridge on the Seine river, will improve the departmental road networks as well as circulation and accessibility conditions at Boucle de Chanteloup (cars, public transport, soft modes of transport).
